Apps Are Locked But You Need Access Now?

When you're in a rush or can't do a Wakeout to unlock your apps

Updated over a week ago

Quick Force Unlock

When your Reward Apps are locked and you need immediate access:

  1. Open Wakeout

  2. Look for the purple "Force Unlock Apps" text below the big green button on the home screen

  3. Tap it once

  4. All your apps instantly unlock

What Happens After Force Unlock

  • Apps remain fully unlocked for the rest of the current hour

  • You get an additional 15-minute grace period into the next hour

  • Use your apps without any restrictions—browse, scroll, enjoy as usual

  • No questions asked, no penalties, no shame, no blame

Why We Keep It Simple

You might wonder why we don't add penalties or costs for manual unlocking. Here's our philosophy:

Awareness is the first step to change. Just having your apps lock serves as a gentle reminder that you've been inactive. That moment of consciousness—"Oh, I've been sitting too long"—is powerful on its own.

We're not here to punish or restrict. We're here to help you ease into healthier movement habits. Some days you'll move to unlock. Other days you'll force unlock. Both are okay because both create awareness of your activity patterns.

Over time, as you become more conscious of your sedentary periods, you'll naturally find yourself choosing movement more often. That's the real transformation—not forced compliance, but genuine behavior change that sticks.

Remember

Active Pass is a tool for positive change, not a strict enforcer. Use Force Unlock whenever you need it. The goal is progress, not perfection.
