With The Healthy Work Timer, you work in brief sprints (25-60 minutes) focused on one task. After each sprint, you'll get a brief exercise break to reenergize you for the next one. This approach not only boosts productivity but also keeps you active and refreshed throughout the day.
Tip: Leave your iPhone on a Stand
When using the Healthy Work Timer, we recommend you leave Wakeout on, and place your iPhone on a stand where you can see it while you work. This helps curve the urge to use your iPhone to procrastinate, and it helps you stay focused on the task at hand.
Setting Up Your Healthy Work Timer
Tap the adjustment icon right here to change the Healthy Work Timer Settings. There are a few settings that will enhance your experience.
Focus time: In minutes, set how long you want to focus on the current task before you're asked to take a physical activity break.
What happens when the timer ends let's you set what behavior you want when the timer reaches 0.
Tailored Exercise Breaks: get recommended Wakeout Packs based on your preferences and habits.
Let me choose: when the timer ends, you will be shown the Browse view so you can search for your favorite Wakeouts.
Start Random Wakeout: with this setting, any Wakeout will immediately begin once the timer reaches 0.
Will Focus On
These are simply tasks that you set for yourself that serve as reminders of what you're focusing on. We can often get distracted during our focus period. We created this little feature so that you can get back on track just by glancing at Wakeout.
