At Walbi, we offer a variety of chart functions to help make your trading experience better and easier. This guide will cover all the key features, including Chart Period, Candle Types, Indicators, Drawing Tools, Zoom Tools, and Layout Storage. Let’s keep it simple and user-friendly so you can get the most out of these tools! 🚀

What is a Chart Period? ⏳

A chart period is the timeframe that shows how price and volume move over a certain period of time on a chart. Traders use different timeframes to analyze the market and make trading decisions. Short periods (like 1 minute) are great for quick trades, while longer periods (like daily or weekly) are used to track long-term trends.

You can favorite your preferred chart periods by clicking the star icon ⭐, so you can switch between them quickly!

Types of Candles 🕯️

Candles represent price movements on the chart and are super helpful for spotting trends. You can find the Candles option in the top left corner of your screen. Once you pick your favorite candle style, it will appear there for easy access.

Here are some common candle types you can choose from:

  1. Bars

  2. Candles

  3. Hollow Candles

  4. Columns

  5. Line

  6. Line with Markers

  7. Step Line

  8. Area

  9. HLC Area

  10. Baseline

  11. High-Low

  12. Heikin Ashi

Using different types of candles helps you spot patterns, find entry and exit points, and manage your trades better.

What Are Indicators? 📈

Indicators are tools that help traders by showing important data like price and volume trends. You can find the Indicators menu in the top left corner of your chart.

Just like with chart periods and candles, you can favorite your most-used indicators by clicking the gold star ⭐. You can also customize how each indicator looks by adjusting lines, colors, and more.

To remove an indicator, click the "X" or the trash can 🗑️ icon in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Drawing Tools ✏️

Drawing tools let you mark up your charts with things like trendlines or shapes to help analyze price movements. The drawing tools are located on the left side of your chart.

Here are some of the most common drawing tools:

  • Trendlines

  • Fibonacci Tools

  • Geometric Shapes

  • Annotations

  • Icons

You can save your favorite tools by clicking the gold star ⭐ for easy access next time!

How to Prevent Accidental Deletions 🚫

Don’t worry about accidentally deleting your drawings! Walbi has made it easy to protect your work. Here’s how:

  • Stay in Drawing Mode: Draw freely without moving the chart.

  • Lock Drawing Tools: Lock your drawings so they can’t be changed by accident.

  • Hide Drawings: Hide all the drawings on your chart when you need a cleaner view.

These options are available in the tools menu to keep your charts neat and safe.

Zoom Tools 🔍

Want to zoom in on a specific part of the chart? Use the magnifying glass 🔍 on the left side of your screen. You can zoom in to focus on one candle or zoom out to see the bigger market trend. You can also measure the distance between two points by clicking and dragging between them.

Layout Storage 🗂️

With Layout Storage, you can save all your chart settings and easily switch between different trading strategies. To save or load layouts, go to the upper right corner and click the down arrow ⬇️. You’ll see options like "Save Layout", "Rename", "Make a Copy", and "Load Layout".

You can also adjust your chart settings—like Candles, Appearance, and Data—by clicking the settings ⚙️ icon in the upper right corner. Everything is saved automatically, so no need to worry about losing your settings.
