What is a Walla Plan Map
Updated over a week ago

In preparation for your migration to Walla, our data wizards will prepare a Walla Plan Map using data from your previous software and your new plans in Walla. We use this document to map those pricing options into the correct plans so your clients will have access to their active memberships and packages once you migrate.

One week prior to your scheduled Review Call with Walla's data team, you'll be sent a preview of your Plan Map along with a list of clients with pricing options, packages, and contracts that are valid in your current software. Using this list you will need to decide whether or not you wish to map or skip that plan. You may also choose to issue a comp pass to certain pricing.

How do I fill out my Walla Plan Map?

Once you receive your Walla Plan Map, you will want to ensure that there are pricing plans created in Walla for each active pricing option, package or membership currently active in your previous software. Here are steps to follow below:

  1. Open your Walla Plan Map and review what pricing options, packages or memberships are still active listed in column A.

  2. Add plans into Walla for any active pricing options, packages or memberships listed in column A that you want to accommodate in Walla

  3. For the plans you wish to migrate, once the plan is created in Walla, add the corresponding plan name into column D.

  4. For any pricing options, packages or memberships you no longer wish to honor, add “skip” into column A.

  5. For any pricing options in your previous software that issue a single class session you will want to issue a Comp Pass. In column D you will enter “comp_pass”.

  6. You may also choose to issue a Comp Pass to any pricing options or packages that issue a limited number of classes or sessions but you no longer wish to sell in Walla so clients can use the remaining classes.

Skip: If you select to skip a pricing option/package from your previous software, we will not import this plan if it is currently active on a client's account.

Comp Pass: If you select to issue a comp pass to map a pricing option/package from your previous software, Walla will issue a free class to these clients to be able to book any scheduled class at your studio.

Special Considerations

  • If you wish for client’s to continue paying the same rate there must be a corresponding plan in Walla at that price point.

  • Learn more about accommodating historical pricing here.

  • All client’s on a single rate must migrate into the same plan.

  • For example, if you have 5 clients paying a legacy rate of $99 per month for an unlimited monthly membership, all 5 must migrate into the same plan in Walla.

  • Walla cannot migrate non-recurring plans into recurring plans.

FAQs

Can we break out one plan into multiple Walla plans?

No. Each plan coming over from your previous software will be on a 1:1 basis and can only be mapped to one plan in Walla.
