How to export data and create a spreadsheet

Walla report capabilities are limitless! If you see the Export icon, then you can download the data to CSV. From there, you will need to convert the CSV to a spreadsheet using Excel, Google Sheets, or another preferred platform. It is easy, we promise!

  1. From your selected report or Payroll select Export. A file in CSV format will download.

  2. Open your preferred platform (Excel, Google Sheets, ect.)

  3. Within your spreadsheet platform, select File, and choose Import

  4. Select the CSV file from your download folder

  5. Import the selected file

Your data is now converted from CSV to spreadsheet format.

Depending on your computer's settings, you can also download a CSV and open the CSV directly to open the CSV in Excel. The document will automatically convert to a spreadsheet. The file may be read only. To edit the content select enable content at the top of the screen.
