Sometimes, you may receive the Facebook Permissions Error 200. The recommended course of action to fix this error is the re-authorization of your Facebook account and allow all permissions.

PS: If you're having trouble with a Facebook account, please contact Facebook directly via their Help Pages as Facebook settings are not something we at Walled Garden can assist with.

How To Fix Facebook Permissions Error 200

  1. Login to your Facebook account. Click on your profile photo in the upper right corner, then navigate to Profile photo > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Security & LogIn > Business Integrations. You can also click here to be taken directly to the Business Integrations page. Search for the Walled Garden application in the Business Integrations. Once you find the application, select the application and click on the Remove button.

2. Upon clicking the remove button, you will see the popup, make sure you unticked the checkbox unticked and then click Remove.

3. Navigate back to Walled Garden to restart the connection process to ensure there are no problems. Click on any Get Started button to log back in and provide permissions.

No luck?

If the steps above do not resolve the issue, the alternative solution is to use a different Facebook business page or create a new one. This will not affect your ability to use your old Facebook page as you normally would and will not affect the performance of the ad since our targeting does not include the fans or followers of a business page. Please note if you elect to create a new Facebook business page, Facebook requires a 48 hour delay before purchasing any ads.
