When you use Wanda, your items must be packed to withstand handling, transportation, and storage. Here's how we can assist you with that!

Large items:

When we're at your place, we'll pack large items for you to withstand transportation and handling. Furniture, tables, etc., will be wrapped in bubble wrap. Appliances, like dryers, will be secured with blankets and other materials. If you can dismantle legs or protruding parts, that's positive as it makes handling much safer. Please gather loose parts in a bag or box!

Information about large items:

  • Maximum weight per large item is 70 kg.

  • Each individual item must be safely carried by two people.

  • A large piece of furniture can be counted as multiple items. If an item needs to be divided into two parts that must be carried by two people, these will be counted as two large items.

  • For example, a sofa in two parts that must be carried by two people is counted as two large items.

Frequently asked questions about large items:

Do you move wardrobes, display cabinets, bookshelves, or bed frames that are not dismantled?

  • We do not take large items that are not dismantled. This is because it would be very difficult to handle these in a way that is safe for both your item and our drivers.

I want to store a bed, how do I do this?

  • Beds often consist of multiple parts. At Wanda, you pay per item. If a bed consists of two mattress bases and one large mattress, this will be counted as three large items if two people are required to carry each individual item. Remember to pack loose items like pillows, duvets, and similar in suitable separate packaging. Bed frames and similar must also be dismantled and packed separately.

I want to store a sofa, how do I do this?

  • A sofa often consists of multiple parts. At Wanda, you pay per item. A corner sofa usually consists of three modules, where each individual module must be carried by two people. In this case, the sofa will be counted as three large items. Loose items like pillows, blankets, etc., must be packed in suitable separate packaging.

Do you pack TVs, screens, and electronics?

  • You must pack them yourself in the original packaging or similar box. The items should also be protected with bubble wrap before being placed in the boxes.

Are transport bikes and electric bikes considered large items?

  • Transport bikes usually weigh more than 35 kg and must be carried by two people, so these are considered large items. Electric bikes sometimes weigh over 35 kg and are then counted as a large item. Our drivers always assess the items we pick up, and in doubtful cases, they also use a scale to check. If transport bikes weigh more than 70 kg with a cargo box, this must be removed and registered as a separate large item.

Can you accept roof boxes for a car?

  • Yes, we can. Remember that the roof box must be ready when we arrive, so we don't need to spend time dismantling it from the car.

Small items:

You are responsible for packing small items so they can withstand transportation and handling. When packing these, it's a good idea to consider the following:

  • Protect surfaces with both cardboard and bubble wrap.

  • Corner protectors are also often a good idea to use!

  • If you can dismantle legs or protruding parts, this will make handling much safer. Please gather loose parts in a bag or box!

  • Ensure that items are packed in a way that prevents anything from falling off or hanging loosely, etc.

  • Anything fragile must be packed extra carefully to prevent breakage during carrying and transportation.

Information about small items:

  • Maximum weight per small item is 35 kg.

  • Each individual item must be safely carried by one person.

  • If an item weighs more than 35 kg, it will be classified as a large item.

Frequently asked questions about small items:

Boxes and bags:

You are responsible for packing boxes and fabric bags so they can withstand transportation and handling. When packing these, it's a good idea to consider the following:

  • Boxes are good up to a point, but they can also break due to weight. Do not overfill them!

  • Make sure that everything in the boxes is secure and packed if necessary.

  • TVs, screens, electronics, and similar must be packed in suitable boxes, with Styrofoam, bubble wrap, or similar. Please use the original packaging if possible.

  • Anything fragile must be packed extra carefully to prevent breakage during carrying and transportation.
