Do You Need a New Domain?

🚀 No, you don’t need to buy a new domain! 🚀
If you already have a website, you can simply create a subdomain instead of replacing your main site.

Example:
Main website: www.abcwindowcleaning.com (your existing site)
Subdomain for GoHighLevel: site.abcwindowcleaning.com (used for funnels, surveys, and automation)

A subdomain keeps your existing site intact while still allowing you to use GoHighLevel’s powerful features.

Step 1: Navigate to the Domain Settings

1️⃣ Go to Settings → Click Domains in the left menu.
2️⃣ Click "Connect Domain" (top right corner).

Step 2: Choose How to Connect Your Domain

You have two options for connecting your domain:

Option 1: Automatic Setup (For Cloudflare & GoDaddy Users)

  • If your domain is registered with Cloudflare or GoDaddy, GoHighLevel provides an automated setup.

  • Click Continue, log in to your provider, and follow the steps.

Option 2: Manual Setup (For All Other Providers)

If you’re using HostGator, Bluehost, Namecheap, or another registrar, follow these steps:

1️⃣ Click "Add Record Manually" (bottom left).
2️⃣ Copy the Host and Required Value provided by GoHighLevel.
3️⃣ Go to your DNS settings (in your domain provider's dashboard).
4️⃣ Add a CNAME Record with the copied details.
5️⃣ Save your changes and return to GoHighLevel.
6️⃣ Click "Verify Record"

Verification Time: It can take 30 seconds to 72 hours for DNS changes to update.

Step 3: Finalize Your Setup

Once verified:
✔️ Choose which funnel or landing page to connect your domain to.
✔️ If you don’t have one yet, click Finish—you can assign it later.

🎉 That’s it! You now have a domain ready for funnels, surveys, and automations.
