1️⃣ Manual Actions: Your To-Do List for Communication

The Manual Actions tab acts as a task manager for outbound communication.

🔹 What are Manual Actions?

  • Tasks assigned to a team member (e.g., call a lead, send a text, follow-up).

  • Typically created in automations (e.g., call a lead after they opt-in).

  • Helps sales teams & customer service reps stay on track.

📍 How to Use It:

  • See assigned actions → Call, email, or text a contact.

  • Mark tasks as complete once done.

  • Admins can track team progress.

Think of it as a "to-do list" for customer communication!


2️⃣ Snippets: Pre-Written Messages for Fast Replies

Snippets save time by allowing you to insert pre-written messages into emails and texts.

📌 Why Use Snippets?
Consistency – Ensures your team sends uniform responses.
Speed – No more typing the same message repeatedly.
Personalization – Use merge tags to auto-fill contact details.

📍 How to Create a Snippet:
1️⃣ Go to Snippets → Click "Create New"
2️⃣ Choose Text Snippet (for SMS) or Email Snippet (for emails)
3️⃣ Name your snippet (e.g., “Follow-Up Message”)
4️⃣ Write your message (add emojis, links, attachments, or merge tags)
5️⃣ Click Save

🔹 Example Text Snippet:
"Hey {{contact.first_name}}, thanks for reaching out! Let me know how I can help. 😊"

🔹 Example Email Snippet:
Subject: Great to Meet You!
"Hi {{contact.first_name}}, it was great chatting with you. Here’s more info: [link]. Looking forward to working together!"

📍 How to Use a Snippet in Conversations:

  • While typing a message, click Snippets (📎 icon).

  • Select the snippet you want to insert.

  • Send instantly or schedule it for later!

3️⃣ Trigger Links: Automate Actions Based on Clicks

📌 What Are Trigger Links?

  • Special links that track when a customer clicks.

  • Clicking a trigger link can automatically start an automation (e.g., send a follow-up email).

  • Useful for tracking lead engagement & conversion rates.

📍 How to Create a Trigger Link:
1️⃣ Go to Trigger Links
2️⃣ Click "Create New Link"
3️⃣ Enter the URL you want to track
4️⃣ Name your trigger link (e.g., "Schedule Call Link")
5️⃣ Click Save

📍 How to Use It in Conversations:

  • Insert the trigger link in a text or email.

  • When clicked, GoHighLevel logs the interaction.

  • Can trigger an automation (e.g., send a reminder email if they don’t book).
