Overview:
Spearhead’s Opportunities Pipeline helps you track where leads are in the sales process, from new inquiries to job completion. This guide explains each stage of the pipeline, how to manage leads, and what updates you need to make based on your sales process.
1. Opportunities Pipeline Overview:
Purpose: Monitor lead progress, abandoned opportunities, and conversion rates from prospects to customers.
Lead Types:
Won/Lost: Indicates if a lead has agreed to proceed or declined.
Abandoned: Lead was never given a quote or estimate.
2. Pipeline Stages Overview:
Stage 1: New Lead
Leads from various sources (e.g., web forms, funnels, calls) are automatically created.
Manual creation of leads is also possible.
Stage 2a: Lead Responded
Leads who respond to outreach are moved here automatically.
Non-responding leads will trigger tasks for follow-up via email and phone.
Stage 2b: Follow-Up
Tasks are assigned (e.g., leave a voicemail), ensuring you stay in contact with the lead. This step is critical for maintaining engagement.
Stage 3: Schedule an Estimate
If you provide estimates over the phone, skip this stage.
For in-person estimates, assign them to a salesperson’s calendar. Automated appointment reminders will be sent to the lead.
Stage 4: Estimate Delivered
Once the estimate is delivered, this step triggers a 28-day follow-up automation sequence.
Stage 5: Estimate Follow-Up
If no response is received after 30 days, the lead moves to "Estimate Delivered with No Response" (Step 7).
Stage 6-7: Accepted/Declined
Manual updates are required to move leads who have accepted or declined the estimate. Declined leads will receive automated follow-ups for up to a year.
Stage 8: Job Completed
After completing the job, move the lead to "Job Completed," which triggers several automations:
Automations Include:
Monthly newsletter integration.
A review request after job completion.
Follow-ups for gifts, mailers, or additional outreach via platforms like Zapier.
3. Managing Opportunity Values:
Each opportunity should have a dollar value assigned. This helps track the potential and realized revenue.
Example: If an estimate is worth $1,000, update the value in the system to reflect this, which will then show on your dashboard.
4. Next Steps:
Additional videos will cover the automations tied to each pipeline stage and how to customize them for your business needs.
