Learn how to automate follow-ups after leaving a voicemail when a lead doesn't initially respond.

Overview:

This automation ensures multiple follow-ups when you leave a voicemail for a lead that didn’t respond initially. If no contact is made after multiple attempts, the lead is marked as abandoned.

1. Triggering the Automation:

  • Manually move the contact to Step 2b: Left a Voicemail after you leave a message.

2. Follow-Up Process:

  • Tag the Lead: A tag is added identifying the contact as a lead.

  • Automated Messaging:

    • 5 minutes after the voicemail, a text message is sent.

    • 1 minute later, an email follows, reiterating the voicemail message.

  • Task Creation and Further Attempts:

    • After a day, a task is assigned to the user for another follow-up call.

    • Another round of email and text follow-ups occurs on the second day.

    • A third attempt follows if there's still no response.

3. Marking as Abandoned:

  • After three unsuccessful attempts, the lead is marked as abandoned and moved to the abandoned stage, indicating no opportunity to give a quote.
