When a client declines an estimate, moving the opportunity to Declined triggers a sequence to gather feedback and re-engage the lead over time.

1. Automation for Declined Estimates:

  • Tag Update: The lead is marked as lost.

  • Prevent Mistakes: If the lead was incorrectly moved to this stage, the workflow ends immediately.

  • Visibility Tip: Keep all filters (open, won, lost, abandoned) unchecked to avoid losing track of leads.

2. Follow-Up Process:

  • Day 1: Send a feedback request email.

  • 6 Months: Re-engagement email.

  • 12 Months: Another follow-up email and tag them as 12 months since declined.
