PLEASE NOTE: Name changes can only be made to a booking up until 1 day prior to departure. In order to make a name change, you and the new booker first have to confirm the change in writing.
All you need to do is simply log into your Wasteland Travel account and select the booking you wish to change the name of. There will be a link to click called 'Name Change' after you have done this follow the steps that appear on your screen. You will be asked to provide the name and email address of the new booker - please ensure you enter this accurately.
Key Points:
The New Booker must have a Wasteland Travel Account already created before you requet the Name Change. Please ensure the email address that the Original Booker enters is the one that the New Booker has created an account with.
The New Booker will receive a prompt to accept the name change in their WLT account.
The Original and New Bookers must both accept the final prompt to confirm the name change.
Once done, the name change is complete through WLT
Please note that there will be a £50 admin fee to any name changes.
Any money already paid on the booking will be left to sort out between yourselves. Any changes that need to be made to the booking are also subject to the conditions found in our Terms and Conditions.
Any insurance booked is non-transferable and the new person must ensure that they are insured to travel directly. Following the above, you will be advised on what to do next.
When the damage deposit gets returned, it will be returned to the original booker’s card. Please note that it is not Wasteland’s responsibility to coordinate this on your behalf.
If you are wanting to process a name change after the payment deadline both parties will need to confirm the name change by emailing help@wastelandtravel.com accepting all pre-booked options including rooming allocations, transport options, equipment hire and the payment conditions. It is the responsibility of both parties to arrange payment between themselves.
