Terminal does not turn on

  1. Make sure that the power cord is plugged in, and charge the terminal for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Hold the ON button for at least 3 seconds.

  3. If the terminal does not start, contact Support.

Terminal turns on

Terminal shows “Network not connected” or similar

First solution: Check if your Wi-Fi router is connected correctly

Connect a different device, such as your phone or laptop, to the Wi-Fi network you are trying to connect to your terminal.

Second solution: Restart the Wi-Fi status on the terminal

  1. On the terminal, open the menu

  2. Go to Network > Wi-Fi

  3. Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled, and select your desired Wi-Fi network

  4. Enter your own Wi-Fi password that is linked to the router

Third solution: Restart the terminal

Turn off the terminal, then turn it back on.

If this does not solve the problem, contact Support.

There is a problem with the battery

Solution: Charge the terminal properly

Make sure the terminal is charged for at least 30 minutes before you start using it. If the battery is still not charging, try connecting the terminal to a different charger.

If this does not solve the problem, contact Support.

Your charger is not charging the battery

First solution: Inspect the charger

Make sure there is no dust or debris in the connectors on the charger and the terminal.

Second solution: Restart the terminal

  1. Restart the terminal. Turn off the terminal, then turn it on again.

  2. Verify whether the charger is now charging the battery.

If this does not solve the problem, contact Support.

Red exclamation mark

The terminal’s payment function isn’t working properly

Solution: Check your network connection

The terminal shows a pending icon

Solution: Check your network connection

Follow the steps above to check your network connectivity.

If this does not solve the problem, contact Support.

The display shows "Terminal in Service mode"

Solution: Turn off the terminal and turn it back on

If this does not solve the problem, contact Support.

The Terminal display shows Tamper

When the display of the payment terminal shows the word 'TAMPER' or 'TAMPERED', stop using the device and contact Watalook immediately.
