Atlas is your AI assistant inside Wave, designed to help you get answers quickly, automate tasks, and support your work across every tool in the platform. The main Atlas page gives you a dedicated space to start conversations, ask questions, and review your previous chats. In the center of the page, you will see the main chat box where you can type your question or message. Atlas responds instantly with context-aware answers based on your organization’s data, the tool you are using, or the workflow you are working through.
You can access Atlas directly from the main Atlas page or from anywhere inside Wave using the chat icon located in the bottom right corner. This allows you to get help without leaving your current tool. Whether you are creating a rock, building a scorecard, writing documentation in Spaces, or planning a meeting, Atlas can provide on-the-spot guidance, suggestions, or content. By centralizing all conversations and making assistance available throughout the platform, Atlas becomes a powerful companion that supports clarity, reduces manual work, and helps your team move faster.
Five Steps to Get Started
1. Explore the main Atlas chat page
Start by opening the Atlas page, where you will see the main chat interface. The chat box sits at the bottom of the screen, ready for your first question. Above it, you will see the conversation history for the current chat session. This page acts as your primary space for interacting with Atlas.
2. Start a conversation by submitting a question
Type your question into the chat box and press Enter or click the up arrow to submit it. Atlas will instantly respond with an answer, suggestion, or action. You can ask anything related to Wave, your work, or the tool you are currently using. Atlas will interpret your question and provide helpful responses right away.
3. Use chat history to revisit previous conversations
Click the chat history icon in the upper right to view a dropdown of all your past conversations with Atlas. Select any previous chat to reopen it and continue where you left off. This helps you reference instructions, past content, or answers without needing to re-ask your question.
4. Create a new chat when needed
If you want to start fresh, click the new chat icon in the upper right. This clears the current conversation and gives you a blank chat window. You can delete old conversations anytime. Starting a new chat is helpful when switching topics or beginning a new workflow.
5. Access Atlas from anywhere inside Wave
You do not need to return to the main Atlas page to use the assistant. In any tool within Wave, click the Atlas icon in the bottom right corner to open a chat window. This allows you to ask questions directly within your context, such as requesting help with Rocks, Scorecards, Meetings, or Spaces without leaving the page you are on.
