To-Dos is where your team tracks short term action items with clear ownership and accountability. It is designed to capture the specific next steps that come out of meetings, discussions, and decisions so work actually gets done. To-Dos keeps everyone focused on execution by ensuring each action has a single owner and a clear expectation for completion. Each to-do includes ownership, priority, status, and a due date so there is no confusion about who is responsible and what needs to happen next.
On the main To-Dos page, you will see all active to-dos organized with key details such as title, owner, priority, status, and due date. Open to-dos appear at the top, while completed items are grouped below to keep the list clean and focused. This view gives individuals and teams a clear snapshot of what they are responsible for right now. To-Dos is intentionally simple and lightweight, helping teams move fast without overcomplicating execution.
Five Steps to Get Started
1. Review your To-Dos list
Start by reviewing the To-Dos page to see what action items are currently assigned. Each to-do shows its title, owner, priority, status, and due date. This is your source of truth for what needs to be completed in the near term.
2. Add a new to-do
Click the add to-do button to create a new action item. Write a clear, specific description that defines exactly what needs to be done. To-dos should be small, actionable steps that can realistically be completed in a short time frame.
3. Assign ownership and due dates
Assign each to-do to a single owner who is responsible for completing it. Set a due date to create urgency and clarity. Clear ownership and timing are what turn a task into a commitment.
4. Update status as work progresses
As work moves forward, update the status of your to-dos. Mark items complete as soon as they are finished to keep the list accurate and current. This visibility helps teams stay aligned and builds trust through follow through.
5. Review and reset regularly
Review to-dos on a regular cadence, especially during weekly team meetings. Any to-do that is no longer relevant should be closed or converted into an Issue or Project if it requires more time or planning. Keeping the list current ensures it stays useful.
Tips and Tricks for Best Results
Keep to-dos short and specific
If a task feels large or unclear, break it down. To-dos should be concrete actions, not vague goals.
One owner per to-do
Every to-do should have a single accountable owner, even if others are involved in the work.
Use To-Dos for short term execution
To-dos work best for actions that can be completed quickly. Longer or multi step work should live in Projects.
Review weekly, not randomly
A consistent review rhythm creates accountability and prevents tasks from being forgotten.
Close or convert stalled to-dos
If a to-do keeps getting pushed, it may be signaling a deeper problem. Convert it into an Issue so it can be properly discussed and resolved.
