The Clients section in the Coach Portal is where you manage the companies you support, monitor activity, and stay connected to what’s happening inside each client organization. It gives you a centralized view of your clients so you can track progress, review engagement, add notes, and quickly access their accounts when deeper involvement is needed.

Each client has a dedicated profile that includes company details, activity logs, members, and coach-specific notes. From the client profile, you can also jump directly into the client’s Wave account, where you have full manager-level access to help update information, guide execution, and support the team more effectively.

Five Steps to Get Started

1. Add your first client

Start by navigating to the Clients page in the Coach Portal. In the upper right corner, click Add Client to open the client creation flow. Step through the form to enter the client’s basic information, such as company name and key details. Once completed, the client will appear in your client list and be ready for ongoing management.

2. Open and review the client profile

Click on any client to open their profile. This profile acts as the central hub for everything related to that organization. From here, you can review client details, view recent activity, and understand how the organization is engaging with Wave over time.

3. View members and activity

Within the client profile, you can see the members associated with that organization and review their activity. This visibility helps you understand who is involved, how the team is using Wave, and where additional guidance or follow-up may be needed.

4. Add coach notes and client logs

Use the notes and logs section within the client profile to capture observations, coaching insights, or follow-up items specific to that client. These notes are designed for coach use and help you maintain continuity between sessions, track themes over time, and prepare for future conversations.

5. Access the client’s Wave account

When you need to take action inside a client’s workspace, click Access Account from the client profile. This takes you directly into the client’s Wave account with full manager-level access. From there, you can update information, review priorities, adjust settings, and support the team as needed, all without leaving the Coach Portal context.
