It's surprisingly easy to stream from wave.video Live-streaming studio to your Instagram account. All studio features will be available for you during the show.

  • Now you'll need to get your streaming URL and a key using YellowDuck

  • Once it's installed, login to your Instagram account via YellowDuck. Please note, login will not work if you have 2-factour authentication enabled.

  • After the login, you'll see the URL and the key. Copy them to the RTMP settings window here, at the Destinations page.

  • Once the URL and the key added, save the custom destination at wave.video by pressing “Add RTMP server”.

  • Now, you can configure the stream and enter the studio. Set up your environment and get ready to stream 😎

We're almost finished. All you need to do now is:

  • Start streaming in wave.video studio by pressing Go live

  • And start stream at YellowDuck by pressing “Start broadcast”.

In the same way, finish your broadcast when needed.

Important things about Instagram streaming:

  1. The key has a short lifetime. You need to setup RTMP destination right before the actual stream

  2. You'll need to add Instagram as a destination before any new stream because of this

  3. You might find more info about YellowDuck here
