How to Set Up and Use Wavo Health in 3 Simple Steps

Getting started is easy, and this guide will walk you through setting up Wavo and using it during your first patient encounter.

Updated this week

Step 1: Sign Up and Access Wavo Health

  • Log In: After signing up, log in at https://secure.wavo.health/en/sign-in using your email and password. Wavo is web-based, so you can access it from any device with a browser—desktop, tablet, or smartphone.

  • Explore the Dashboard: After logging in, you’ll land on your Wavo dashboard. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the layout, where you’ll find options to start a new session, view past encounters, and access settings.

Step 2: Activate Wavo During Your First Patient Consult

  • Start a Session: Before your patient visit, click “New Session” on the dashboard. Wavo will prompt you to allow microphone access to transcribe your conversation.

  • Engage Naturally: Speak with your patient as you normally would. Wavo’s advanced speech recognition will capture every detail of the conversation in real-time.

  • Best Practice Tip: For the best transcription accuracy, ensure you’re in a quiet environment and speak clearly. Wavo works well even with medical terminology, but minimizing background noise helps.

Step 3: Review, Edit, and Save Your Notes

  • Review Generated Notes: Once your session ends, Wavo will automatically generate structured clinical notes (e.g., SOAP notes, progress notes). You’ll see them on your dashboard under the session.

  • Make Edits: Skim through the notes and make any necessary adjustments. Wavo learns from your edits over time, improving its accuracy for future sessions.

  • Save or Export: Approve the notes and save them in Wavo’s patient dashboard for future reference. You can also copy and paste them into your EMR system.

Next Steps: Maximize Your Wavo Experience

  • Try Custom Templates: Tailor Wavo’s note formats to your specialty by creating custom templates in the settings.

  • Explore Wavo AI: Use the Wavo AI assistant to ask questions about your encounters, like “What medications were prescribed in this patient’s last visit?”

You’re all set! Wavo is designed to streamline your workflow, reduce burnout, and help you focus on what matters most—your patients. Want to see Wavo in action? Book a Demo or start using it now at https://secure.wavo.health/en/sign-in.
