Create and manage waiver templates

Create, edit, set default, and delete waiver templates in Wavrr.

Written by Wavrr

Waiver templates control the consent text and signing flow your clients see. Create templates for the different consent forms your studio uses.

Open Waiver Templates

Go to Waiver Templates in the sidebar.

Waiver templates page

Create a template

Click New Template, enter a name, and create it.

New template flow

Wavrr creates the template with starter content. Open the template to edit the waiver text, questions, and signing rules.

Edit a template

Click Edit on a template card. In the editor, you can update:

  • Template name

  • Waiver text

  • Optional client fields

  • Custom questions

  • Extra consent items

  • Minimum age

  • Guardian signature threshold

Set a default template

If you have multiple templates, choose the one your studio uses most often and click Set as default.

The default template is selected automatically when creating waivers, unless you choose another template.

Delete a template

Click Delete on a template card and confirm the action.

Only delete a template if your studio no longer needs it. If clients should keep using the same QR code workflow, make sure the correct template remains available.

Recommended template setup

Most studios should start with:

  • One default general tattoo waiver

  • Additional templates for special services or different consent text

  • Clear template names so artists choose the right one quickly
