Documents can easily be attached to policy or procedures within Way We Do.

There are three options for doing this:

Upload a file from your computer

  • Type in some text to apply the file link to e.g. Click here to download the xyz template

  • Highlight the text and click the Insert File option

  • Either drag and drop the file OR click Browse to browse files from your computer

  • Your file has been added to your policy, procedure, or process

Link a file from Cloud Storage

  • Type in some text to apply the file link to e.g. Click here to download the xyz template

  • Highlight the text and click the Insert File option

  • Select the relevant cloud storage. Note: to connect SharePoint, choose OneDrive

  • Note: when using the Cloud Storage option, you need to ensure that the appropriate sharing permissions have been applied to the document

  • You'll now be able to browse files in your Cloud Storage to insert the document

  • Your file has been added to your policy, procedure, or process

Choose an existing file

You also have the option to use a previously uploaded file. Simply click the tab labeled Choose and select the file from the choices that are displayed. If the Choose tab is empty, it means that there are no previously uploaded files to choose from.

Viewing attachments as a list

As attachments are added, they're stored in the Attachments section for that procedure. Click the Paperclip icon to view the list of attachments.

Add an Attachment Without Linking

It's also possible to add an attachment to your procedure without linking to it in the document. To begin, click the Attachment icon on the right of the screen when you are on any policy or procedure page.

Click +Upload a File in the top right corner and select the method for adding the attachment.
