If you miss rent payments because of something like losing your job we will do our best to be flexible so you can stay in your home and get back on track.

If this ever happens, the best thing you can do is to work with us. For example, stay in contact with us, keep taking care of your home and discuss a payment plan. We don’t charge you interest or fees on rental arrears.

Although we want to be able to help you get back on track, we might not be able to if you consistently miss rent payments.

If the attempts to get you back on track don’t work, we would arrange for the funding partners to offer to buy your share of the home. You would get the current value of your share minus any rental arrears deductions.

If you’re uncooperative, we may be forced to repossess the home which can take a long time. Rental arrears can add up reducing the value of your share when you leave.
