When you buy more of your home, a small portion will go to paying off the funding partner’s share of the acquisition costs.

What are the acquisition costs?

Acquisition costs are Stamp Duty, conveyancing and the property survey.

Upfront acquisition costs

When you and the funding partners buy your home, you will split these costs in proportion to your deposit. For example, if you buy 5% of the home, then you only pay 5% of the acquisition costs. The funding partners pay for the rest.

Acquisition costs when you buy more of your home

When you buy more of your home, you also pay back a proportion of these costs. For example: If you decide to buy £100 more of your home, only £6 from this will go to paying off the acquisition costs, the remaining £94 buys more of your home.
