How are sales tracked through associates?

Sales in Wayward’s Associates program are tracked through publishers own Amazon Associates links. These figures are then shared with Wayward through direct data feeds established with participating publishers, so they won’t appear in your Amazon Ads console the way Attribution-linked sales do. To ensure accuracy, Wayward partners only with top-tier, verified publishers and cross-references all Associates data against other systems, including Creator Connections, to prevent overlap or duplicate reporting. In some cases, Wayward also has direct access to publishers’ Amazon Associates accounts, allowing us to pull data directly and ensure complete transparency.

Why am I not seeing sales through associates?

If you’re not seeing sales reflected immediately through the Associates program, don’t worry—this is expected behavior. We receive reporting from some of our partners on a monthly cadence, which means sales data may be delayed and more complete closer to the end of the month.

We recommend checking your Analytics dashboard toward the end of the month for the most accurate and up-to-date snapshot of sales performance.

Will I receive the brand referral bonus on sales through Associates?

No, the brand would not receive the 10% brand referral bonus on associates. They would only pay the commission set for associates in the platform, as well the usage fee on those sales, which is Wayward's business fee.
