How does Wayward Boost use Amazon Attribution?
Publisher articles in the Wayward network already contain affiliate links promoting your products. When you boost an article through Wayward Boost and select Amazon as your traffic destination, Wayward dynamically swaps those existing affiliate links with Amazon Attribution links specific to your campaign. This happens automatically via JavaScript on the publisher page -- no manual setup required.
💡 Note for 3P Sellers: The 10% Brand Referral Bonus rebate earned on Attribution-tracked sales offsets the 10% affiliate commission in full. This means your net commission cost on Amazon-driven sales is zero.
How can I identify Wayward Boost campaigns in my Amazon Attribution dashboard?
Wayward Boost campaigns are identifiable by the prefix wywrdboost, which is applied across all campaigns, ad groups, and creatives within your Attribution dashboard.
How are Attribution links structured across my campaigns?
Attribution links in Wayward Boost are structured at the creator level, with granular tracking applied at the ad level:
Campaign (aa_campaignId) -- each creator has their own unique Attribution campaign ID
Ad Group (aa_adGroupId) -- each individual ad has its own ad group ID, so performance can be tracked at the ad level
This means that if you are running multiple ads across multiple creators, each will have its own Attribution campaign, with individual ad-level tracking within it.
Will these campaigns appear alongside my existing Amazon Attribution campaigns?
Yes. Wayward Boost Attribution campaigns will appear in your existing Amazon Attribution dashboard alongside any other campaigns you are running, identifiable by the wywrdboost prefix.
