Where possible, we recommend using Amazon Direct because you will get increased commission and we’ve seen increased conversion rates for those products.

You can view clicks, add to carts, conversions, sales, and commissions through the Wayward Portal under the ‘Data’ tab. If you need a custom data, reach out to creators@wayward.com and we will get you the data that you need.

Your payment wait-time depends on the type of product that you promote. For Amazon Direct, you get paid on a longer cycle because of the lag in Amazon payments. More details are provided in the Amazon section.

Wayward has a dedicated brand team that onboards brands onto our platform. We aim to onboard brands that fit well with our current creator base and that are the best performing brands for our creators. We're always looking to find more brands, so if you cannot find a product that you want to promote, email creators@wayward.com and we will get them onto Wayward ASAP.

You should be able to navigate the 'Discover' tab in the Wayward Portal to find the products that you love and want to share with your audience. We will also be emailing you regularly with special deals and promotions.

Yes, definitely. We understand that creators need to try the product to make the most authentic recommendation for others. To coordinate receiving samples from the brand, simply follow the request a product flow on each product card. However, only some high-performing creators (as determined by Wayward) are eligible for a sample request.

Yes, for high-performing creators, Wayward will help you win even larger bonus commissions and discount codes your desired brand.

You have final say over the UX that your customers see on your store. This includes store font, themes, etc. You can add Amazon Direct or Affiliate product listings.

We know that your time is valuable. We make it easy to run your store, where the only management will be any specific product content that you want to add. We'll take care of all of the domain hosting, product management, and everything else that takes time away from you doing what you love.

No, you can promote links to your product recommendations anywhere you want. We've seen creators be successful promoting through social posts, within articles, and beyond.

No. Wayward links don't support Amazon Associates tags. As a creator, you'll need to choose whether to use links from Wayward OR Amazon Associates on a product-by-product basis.

Wayward pays out for Amazon Direct products once a month. You get paid at the beginning of the month for all sales made two months prior, about 30 days after those sales have been officially reported. For example, if you drive two conversions: 5/13/23 and 5/20/23, you will get paid out for those sales (and all other sales converted in the month of May) on 7/1/23.

Any returns made within the month or 30 days after that a conversion occurred will be automatically deducted from your commission for that month.

Please give at least 48 hours to allow for Amazon to recognize a sale.

Yes, having an Amazon Associate tag is not a requirement for Amazon Direct products. If you are an Amazon Associate, you will have to choose between an Attribution tag or an Associates tag for Amazon Direct products.

We bill our brands based off Amazon Attribution, and you should not link your Amazon Associates tag in your Wayward link. You only get paid bonus commission on Amazon Direct products that you are promoting (and other products on within that brand). You will not get paid out for any indirect purchases.
