Document Compatibility and Conflicts
It is important to understand how our primary documents interact before requesting a shipment:
Included Documents: Our Trust packages automatically include a Pour-Over Will.
Potential for Conflict: If you were to execute both a standalone Will and a Trust-based plan (which contains its own Will), you would effectively have multiple Wills. Because these documents do not interact or "talk" to one another, having both can lead to significant legal confusion and conflicts in your estate plan.
Platform Limitations: We are currently unable to modify our Print & Ship functionality to allow for the simultaneous printing of both a standalone Will and a Revocable Trust.

Considering this, it may be wise to consult with an attorney to assess whether creating more than one primary estate planning (such as a revocable trust and a stand-alone will) document is the best approach for your needs.
