When an existing estate plan is reviewed by Ester AI, how can that data be used when clients are making updates to their documents?

How to leverage Ester to summarize existing client documents and leverage this information when making updates to their estate planning documents using wealth.com's workflows.

When a client comes to you with an existing estate plan, Ester AI can help you quickly get up to speed on what's in their documents — and give your client a helpful reference as they work through updates.

Step 1: Upload the document and generate an Executive Summary

After uploading an existing estate planning document, you can use Ester to generate an Executive Summary. This summary pulls out the key details from the document, including:

  • Beneficiaries

  • Trustees, executors and other decision makers

  • Important provisions

In addition, any individuals or entities identified in the document will automatically have contact cards created for them. These contact cards will be visible to your client directly from their portal once they have created their account.

Step 2: Save the Executive Summary to the Vault

After you've reviewed the Executive Summary, you can download it and save a copy to the Vault for safekeeping.

When your client is making updates to their estate plan through the wealth.com platform, they can access the Executive Summary from their Vault to use as a reference. All contact cards created from uploading the document to Ester AI are also accessible to your client.

Pro tip: Encourage clients to review the Executive Summary before starting their digital workflow. Clients who come prepared with a clear picture of their existing plan tend to move through the process more quickly and with greater confidence.
