EstateFlow works in conjunction with other features of the Family Office Suite™ to help advisors model potential scenarios, optimize tax efficiency, and create comprehensive visual representations of even the most complex estate plans for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
EstateFlow is specifically designed for existing estate plans that have been extracted through Ester.
If you need to update your EstateFlow configuration, you'll see a message that says "View Configuration Warnings" in your EstateFlow tab within the client's profile. By clicking on this message, you can review the required information and easily navigate to the specific conflicts that need to be addressed by clicking 'Fix Errors' in the pop-up window. You can see a red error box with further details as well when you are in the Data Card.
Please refer to this message to make any necessary adjustments to your current configuration.
Additionally, here's the key information that feeds EstateFlow's calculations to help identify key components:
Any information entered in Client Settings, including your client's date of birth, state of residence, federal and state assumptions, as well as estate tax calculations
Will or trust card data generated from your client's extracted document
Beneficiary designations in the trust or will cards
Assets included in the Ownership Balance Sheet play a vital role in how asset ownership is assigned. Please note that for EstateFlow to function accurately, the asset owner must be listed under the legal owner as of today.
