What is Wealth.com's Advyzon Integration?

Wealth.com offers an integration with Advyzon, a financial technology company that provides interactive financial planning software. Our Advyzon integration allows you to leverage Advyzon data for estate plan updates, utilize filters for targeted insights, and communicate updates clearly with clients.

In this article, we’ll show you how you can leverage the Advyzon integration for improved visibility into your estate planning activity, what data gets pulled, and how to set up your integration.

How You Can Use This Integration

Our Advyzon integration is designed to reduce the amount of time it takes to create a client profile and build their balance sheet. Instead of manually creating a client and entering their assets, advisors can import them directly from their Advyzon account, or link an existing client in Wealth.com to the corresponding Advyzon profile. Advisors can access a current view of client assets, allowing them to focus on providing personalized estate planning advice and meet their clients’ long-term goals.

What Data is Included in This Integration

Data is synced on demand when an Advisor refreshes a client's profile. Advyzon pulls the below account data into Wealth.com:

Before You Begin: Required Advyzon-Side Setup

Before connecting Advyzon to Wealth.com, your firm and account must be configured on the Advyzon side. Both steps below are required for the integration to work.

Step 1 — Whitelist your firm (new firms only)

If your firm has not previously connected to Wealth.com through Advyzon, you must first contact your Advyzon service team to request whitelisting — either via a call or a support ticket. Once approved, proceed to Step 2.

If your firm has already been whitelisted (for example, if a colleague has previously connected), skip to Step 2.

Step 2 — Enable the Wealth.com integration in your Advyzon account

  1. Log into your Advyzon account

  2. Click the settings icon in the top right corner to open User Settings

  3. Under My Integrations, select Partner Integrations

  4. Find Wealth.com in the list

  5. Click the three-dot menu on the Wealth.com row

  6. In the Update Integration Settings modal, toggle API Access on

  7. Click Save

Once both steps are complete, you're ready to connect in Wealth.com.

How to Set Up Your Advyzon Integration

  1. Log into your Wealth.com account

  2. Select your initials in the top right corner

  3. From the Settings menu, select Integrations

  4. Scroll down to Advyzon and you’ll see a Not Connected status, click that button to prompt the connection

  5. Enter your Advyzon login information in the pop-up window when it appears

  6. You will then be directed back into the Advisor Dashboard, where you should see the Advyzon integration status as Connected

  7. Before completing this step, make sure you have completed the required Advyzon-side setup above. If you have not yet enabled API Access in your Advyzon account, the connection will not work.

Congrats, you’ve now successfully set up your Advyzon integration!

To import your Advyzon clients into Wealth.com, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Wealth.com account

  5. You will be able to search your Advyzon client list and select a client to import

  6. Click Next to import the selected client

  3. Navigate to their Balance Sheet from the left-side navigation

  4. At the top of the screen, select Create

  5. Under "Select to automatically pull assets from the following," click Connect with Advyzon

Data Security

The Advyzon integration uses OAuth2, a trusted authorization method commonly used by financial institutions, to ensure secure access without exposing user credentials. Data is also encrypted during transfer (TLS 1.2), keeping client information safe as it moves between Advyzon and Wealth.com.

How to Disconnect This Integration

  1. Log into your Wealth.com account

  2. Select your initials in the top right corner

  3. From the Settings menu, select Integrations

  4. Scroll down to Advyzon and you’ll see a Connected status, click that button to disconnect

  5. Confirm this action when a pop-up window appears asking you to authorize

Maintaining Control Over Synced Data

  • You can refresh a client’s profile in Wealth by going to the Ownership Balance Sheet, clicking the settings icon in the tool bar, and clicking the refresh button. The data sync from Advyzon to Wealth.com will occur to ensure the data in Wealth.com is kept up-to-date.

  • If a synced record is created in Advyzon, a corresponding record will be created in Wealth.

  • If a synced record is updated in Advyzon, the corresponding record will be updated in Wealth.

  • If a synced record is deleted in Advyzon, a message will be displayed on the corresponding Wealth record indicating that the source record has been deleted and that it is safe to delete in Wealth.

  • If a field on a synced record in Wealth has been manually edited by an advisor, that edit will be preserved. The nightly sync will not overwrite the manual change unless the corresponding field in Advyzon has also changed since the last successful sync.
