EstateFlow excludes the following by default:
Any Wills or Trusts that are missing a trust or will creator OR that individual is not the client.
Any asset that is owned by an individual who is not a client.
Any Irrevocable Trust that has an unsupported termination event. This includes a trust that terminates at a certain age, time-based event, or upon another unspecified event.
Two exceptions to this rule are GRATs and QPRTs if a user has marked them as “Inside the Taxable Estate.” A GRAT or QPRT marked “outside the taxable estate” will not be included in EstateFlow™ calculations.
Any entities without top-level ownership assigned.
You can review if any assets are not included in EstateFlow by selecting the ‘View Configuration Warnings’ button from the EstateFlow tab.
