Methods for Creating a Profile
There are three ways to add a client to your advisor dashboard. In all cases, ensure you use the client’s unique email address. Always ensure the client uses the exact email address that received the invitation to avoid access errors.
Option 1: Create and Invite Immediately – Use this when you want the client to start drafting right away. Click Add Client, enter their details, ensure the Invite to Wealth.com box is checked, and click Create Client.
Option 2: Create Without Inviting – Use this if you want to extract existing estate planning content first (e.g., using Ester) or onboard them later. Follow the steps above but uncheck the "Invite to Wealth.com" box.
Option 3: Import via Integration – You can sync clients from platforms like eMoney, Black Diamond, or Orion. First, connect the service via Initials > Integrations. Once connected, go to Add Client > Add from Integration to browse and import your records.
Inviting Couples and Partners
For couples, the best practice is to send one invitation to one email address.
Shared Access: Couples do not need separate login credentials. They can use the same email and password to access their shared account.
NOTE: multiple logins for a single account is not available at this time
Collaborative Planning: When the client registers, they can select a "Couples Plan." This allows both them and their spouse to draft estate planning documents.
Merging Accounts: Currently, there is no way to merge two separate accounts. If a couple creates two individual logins, they can either move one spouse to the other account to create a joint trust or maintain two separate individual trusts.
The Invitation & Reminder Process
Once invited, the client receives an automated email with a registration link. The invitation email is sent from the address noreply@wealth.com and appears to come from Wealth.com. The subject line typically reads "Welcome to Wealth.com."
Registration: Clients can create a password or use Single Sign-On (SSO) through Google or Apple. They must accept the Terms and Conditions to proceed.
Email Content: The invitation email includes a button labeled "Create My Account."
Account Creation: When the client clicks the "Create My Account" button, they are directed to a page where they can set up their password and gain access to their account.
Link Expiration: The initial invite link expires after one year and can only be used once. After the account is created, clients should use the standard login page to regain access.
Automated Reminders: If the invite is not accepted, reminders are sent 3 days after the initial invite and 7 days after the first reminder (10 days total).
To Complete Plan: Once drafting begins, reminders are sent 7 days after drafting starts and 7 days after the first reminder.
Managing Client Profiles
Resend Invites: If a client’s status is Invited, click the three dots next to their name and select Resend Invite. If their status is Active, they already have an account and do not need a new invite.
Changing Email Address: If a client wants to use a different email address, delete the existing profile if they have not created their account yet and start from scratch. If the client has already created their account, they can reach out to Support at support@wealth.com to request their email address on their account to be changed.
Client Autonomy: The Wealth.com experience is client-driven. You can guide them through legacy objectives, but you do not have the ability to make questionnaire selections or draft legal documents on their behalf.
