Getting Started with Wealth.com Tax Planning

Wealth.com Tax Planning is a holistic tool that transforms complex tax data into clear, actionable insights, allowing advisors to bridge the gap between historical filing and proactive wealth management.

Product Overview and Value

Tax Planning is designed for tech-forward RIAs and CFPs serving high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. It is particularly effective for managing complex situations involving business owners (K-1/QBI), tech executives with equity compensation, and families focused on multi-generational wealth transfer. By treating tax and estate planning as a "compound product," the tool ensures every tax decision strengthens the client's overall estate strategy.

Advisors use this tool to solve three primary hurdles:

  • Eliminating Manual Prep: Reduces the 45–90 minutes usually spent on data extraction to just a few minutes using our proprietary AI.

  • Overcoming Complexity: Translates dense tax data into visual narratives, such as projecting tax savings and liability.

Key Capabilities

  • Rapid Historical Review ("Lookback"): Summarize past tax health, identify safe harbor requirements, and spot missed opportunities from a 1040.

  • Client Ready Reports: Professional, high-quality deliverables that feature impactful visuals that are easy for clients to understand

    • Coming Soon: custom branded reports!

Step 1: Upload your client's tax return

To begin, you can upload a client’s Form 1040 (currently the primary supported document) through two methods:

  1. Direct Upload: Upload from your computer or Vault.

  2. Client Request: Use a pre-filled email to request documents directly from the client via email.

Once documents are uploaded, confirm family details like birthdates and dependents. This data is critical for calculating age-based benefits, retirement eligibility, and long-term projections.

Step 2: See key figures summarized on the Overview page.

Ester summarizes key figures like Adjusted Gross Income, Federal Income Tax, Total Tax, Taxable Income, and more in a simplified dashboard.
