What is a Prompt?

An AI prompt is an instruction given to AI to generate a desired response. For example, a prompt for generating a product description could be:

"Write a compelling description for a new smartphone with advanced features and a sleek design."

What is Prompt Engineering?

At Wizerr, we give your company a single place to create, collaborate on, and publish the most useful prompts for using your product for your users. This process is called prompt engineering.

Wizzer is a prompt engineering platform - a software tool that enables companies to create and publish prompts aimed at increasing the adoption of their products. It provides a user-friendly interface and customizable features to help companies design and deploy prompts effectively.

How do I create a prompt?

  1. Click on Add New in the top right hand side of the page.

  2. Add a title for the prompt

  3. Get started writing the prompt in the first box.

We suggest framing it as instructions for the AI model to do something.

For example: "Act as an expert community manager. Craft a newsletter for my community members which includes details of the three following things:"

Next, you will need to include at least one place in the prompt that requires an input from the user. It can be anywhere in the prompt. You should indicate the location and title of the input by adding the title in square brackets, like [this].

For example: "Write a compelling description for a new [product] with advanced features and a [style] design."

In this example, 'product', and 'style' are the inputs that the user will have to provide. You can add as many inputs as you would like in the prompt.

The user will not directly see the prompt, they will only be asked for the inputs.

  4. Once you have written the prompt, you will need to guide the user to provide the inputs.

For the previous example, you could write:
[product]: What is the product you are creating?
[style]: In a few words, describe the design of the product.

The questions are designed to guide the user to give the correct inputs to the prompt. Don't forget to add a hint (eg. an example input) in the box below.

  5. Select the category for your prompt.

  6. Add a title, and a description. These will be shown to the user.

What do the advanced settings do?

The advanced settings seen on the right can be left at their default value and yield successful results. Here is what they mean:

Model: This is simply the AI model that the results are coming from. Wizerr acts as a middle layer between the model (aka. LLM) and wherever you are using the output (your product, app, workflow etc.). You can pug in any LLM that you want.

Temperature: The 'craziness' or 'creativity' of the results. The higher the temperature, the more experimental the results.

Max Tokens: This equates (approximately) to the maximum length of the results that the model should give. This prevents the response being too long, which can be taxing and hence slow for a AI model.

Can multiple team members collaborate on creating and managing prompts?

Yes, the prompt engineering platform supports collaboration features, allowing multiple team members within your company to work together on prompt creation and management. This facilitates teamwork, streamlines the prompt development process, and ensures efficient coordination among team members.

How do I publish a Prompt?

Theres a few ways!! In your product, app, workflow, in an email, or on its very own page - its totally up to you. Read on to find out more.

Embedding in your product, app, or in an email: You will find the embed details in the 'share' settings for each prompt.

On a standalone page: Select 'make this prompt public' in the prompt settings, and then navigate to the landing page (under your hub settings). Edit the landing page accordingly, and then publish it. You should see all your public prompts show up here for your users to try out.

Why should I offer AI prompts to my users?

Using a prompt engineering platform offers several benefits, including:

  • Increased user engagement: Prompts help guide users and encourage them to take desired actions, leading to higher engagement levels.

  • Enhanced user experience: Well-designed prompts provide users with relevant suggestions and guidance, improving their overall experience with the product.

  • Increased product adoption: By strategically using prompts, companies can drive user adoption of specific features, increase product usage, and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Flexibility and customization: The platform allows companies to tailor prompts according to their unique requirements, ensuring that they align with their branding and target audience.

Can prompts be customized to match your brand identity?

Yes. Prompts can (and should!) be designed with your brand in mind.

How can we measure the effectiveness of prompts?

The platform is adding comprehensive analytics and tracking features to measure the effectiveness of prompts. These insights will help you understand how prompts are performing, identify areas for improvement, and optimize your prompts for better results. Stay tuned!

Is your data secure?

Data security is a top priority for us. We have implemented robust security measures to protect your data within the prompt engineering platform.

Data is used to provide your own company with analytics, but we will never sell any data to 3rd party companies.

Data on prompts that customers/users run will be handled inline with OpenAI's own privacy policy as they are the AI model provider.
