Alternate email addresses can be set within Web Control to assist you when locked out of your Web Control account.
If you lock yourself out of Web Control, the login screen contains a Forgot password/locked out? link.
The Forgot password/locked out? function generates a temporary password to your alternate email address outside of Web Control allowing you to unlock yourself at any time.
Standard users have the ability to change and add their own alternate email addresses. Manager users have the ability to change and add alternate email addresses for themselves or any user.
The steps for adding alternate email addresses vary based on the type of user you are.
Standard User
To add an alternate email address:
Log in to Web Control.
Click the Settings link.
From the User Settings section, click Edit User.
In the Edit Info screen input your information in the Alternate Email Address field.
Click Update User.
Manager User
To add an alternate email address:
Log in to Web Control.
Click the Settings link.
From the User Settings section, click List Users.
Click the name of the individual for whom you want to add an alternate email address.
In the Edit Info screen input your information in the Alternate Email Address field.
Click Update User.
