Prospect Records in Web Control have a Status menu to file prospects to the appropriate status indicative of where the Prospect may be in the buying process.


Prospects will initially come into Web Control as new Internet leads in the status of New.  As New Prospects are initially responded to, Web Control will automatically change the Status from New to First Response.  This initial Status change is the only time Web Control will change the status of a Prospect.

Salespeople can then manually change the Prospect's Status by selecting from the Status menu and clicking on the appropriate status.

NOTE:  Check with your Managers to see what specific Statuses they want you to us as your dealership may have Sales Processes assigned to Sales Status which will trigger follow up activities for you based on the Status change.
