In Webcontractor on the Project webpage ->Valuation ->Submission Schedules there is a new field called Valuation Day Calculation Method. Users can select which method should be applied to this particular project Valuation / Submission schedule by selecting the method.
There are now two new methods to calculate each monthly Valuation Day :
Calculate based on the Last Working Day in the month
Calculate Based on the Last Friday of the month
On the Valuation Day line in the Valuation / Submission Schedules section on the Project webpage 3 new selectable "Tick boxes" have been added (see fig 1.1):
Valuation Day
Last Working Day in the month
Last Friday of the month
Note: Only one of these Valuation Day calculation method "Tick boxes" can be selected on any particular project Valuation / Submission schedule.
When the Valuation Day "Tick box" is selected the Valuation Day field is selectable and a day range of 1 to 31 MUST be entered, and that day is applied to all valuation months in the Project Start Date to Project End Date range. The Valuation Day Calculation Method field will be set to Valuation Day. When the Valuation Day "Tick box" is NOT selected the Valuation Day field is NOT selectable.
When the Last Working Day in the month "Tick box" is selected, the Valuation Days are calculated based on the Last Working Day in the particular valuation month.
Note: The Last Working Day in the month "Tick box" CAN ONLY be selected when the Valuation Period is set to "Months" and the Periods in the Month is set to "1". The Valuation Day Calculation Method field will be set to Last Working Day.
When the Last Friday of the month "Tick box" is selected, the Valuation Days are calculated based on the Last Friday in the particular valuation month.
Note: The Last Friday of the month "Tick box" CAN ONLY be selected when the Valuation Period is set to "Months" and the Periods in the Month is set to "1". The Valuation Day Calculation Method field will be set to Last Friday.
