With the automation type E-sign event, you can set up automations that are triggered based on the status of a document when it is sent for e-signing. This can be used regardless of whether you use webCRM e-sign, GetAccept, or Addosign.
Case – Move quotation in pipeline to pipeline level "Won" when the document is signed
Why not let WebCRM handle the manual work, once a customer has signed your quotation?
Instead of having to check and follow the signing status of your document, you can build an automation that automatically moves your deal to pipeline level "Won", when the customer has signed your document, and then notify you about it.
Follow the guide below to see how:
Setup
Go to Utilities → Automation →
Create → choose the trigger type E-Sign event.
Trigger
1. Set the Signing status to Signed.
2. Set Entitety Type to Opportunity.
Note! As you can have documents attached to all entities in WebCRM, it is important that you choose which entity you want the trigger to connect to. In this case, we want to it to trigger, when a document on an Opportunity is signed.
Action - Update
3. Click on to insert the action Update.
4. Choose Pipeline / Pipeline Level in the Data field → set the Value to [13] Contract won (or what the Won level is called in your system).
Action - Send notification
5. Click on to insert the action Send notification.
6. In the To field, we choose Opportunity → Sales Responsible and not a fixed recipient.
7. If you want to link to the actual Sales Opportunity (or other things) in the notification text, you can use Merge fields → choose Opportunity → Link
8. Remember to Activate and Save your automation, and then you're all set.
