Reports

Do you want to be able to create different reports on your data and to be able to identify patterns in your customers' buying behavior, etc. Then webCRM's overview module can help you do this.

The video below gives you a general introduction to reports and on this playlist you can learn much more about the various functionalities.

Reports allow the users to examine the system's data and analyze it in detail. Reports can include some calculation functions and can group and sum data. It is possible (with the right access level) to export the report results from webCRM to Excel or Word.

In addition reports can be used to mass modify fields, delete entities, create activities as well as provide statistics, trends, productivity, pipeline, expectations, etc.

When you create a report there are a number of considerations:

  1. For which entity must the report be made?

  2. What information should the report show?

  3. How should the information be sorted?

  4. Do you want to export, modify or delete data?

  5. Should there be access restrictions on the report?

1. For which entity must the report be made?

When you create a report it is important to choose the right entity as this enables the right filters to be set up.

2. What information should the report show?

There are two ways to control the display of information in a report. The first is the filters that you can set up. In this example, we have set up a filter so that we only display opportunities that are before 31-07-2022:

The second way is by choosing which columns are to be displayed in the report. You can do this inside the report itself by clicking on this button:

It is also possible to change the order of the columns by dragging them around.

3. How should the information be sorted?

If you want to sort by a specific column you need to click in the white area to the right of the heading. After this, a small arrow will be displayed so that you can see how the column is sorted:

4. Do you want to export, modify or delete data?

If you want to export, modify or delete data you must first allow advanced actions on the report. This can be done here:

5. Should there be access restrictions on the overview?

If you want to set up access restrictions on the overview, this can be done here:
