Email Events in WebCRM

In WebCRM, email events (event tracking) give you the ability to view data about your newsletters after they have been sent.

You can track email opens and clicks, allowing you to follow how your various newsletters and other mailings are performing, and see which content is read and clicked on the most.

Enable tracking

These features must be activated in the Integration module in WebCRM. To do this, go to Configurations → Integration → External Credentials→ Email events.

Admin users can also access the configurations here.

Enable the toggle for both Track opens and Track clicks and remember to click Save

View Opens and Clicks

When you have sent a bulk mailing, you will be able to view the statistics for your mailing by going to Utilities → Emails → Status mass emails.

You will be able to see the number of emails, how many were sent, how many failed, as well as the number of opens and clicks. The progress must show 100% before you can be sure that WebCRM has finished sending.

You can click on each individual number to see more details about who clicked and which links were clicked, for example, or if some emails failed and who they were supposed to be sent to.

Visual Graph

If you would like a more visual overview showing the date range, you can hover your mouse over the line, and you will see a small graph icon on the right-hand side, which you can click on.

Here you can select the date range and choose whether you want to see the distribution by days, months, quarters, etc.
