What is 3D Secure (3DS) ?

3DS is a formal security verification that authorizes online payments by entering a password or a one-time PIN.

How to complete 3DS verification?

When the system asks for 3DS authentication, it will take you to a new web page where you will see one of two flows: a challenge flow where you will enter a PIN or one-time passcode, or a frictionless flow(Blank screen) where no explicit action is required (about 2-3 seconds), and the page will automatically jump back to Webot when the authentication is complete.

What are the reasons for expired or failed 3DS verification?

  • Your card issuer does not support 3DS.

  • Your card issuer does not allow payments to crypto exchanges.

  • You have not entered the 3DS verification code within 15 minutes or have entered an incorrect code.

How can I solve the problem so that I can make a deposit?

  • Please check if you have entered the correct 3DS verification code within 15 minutes.

  • Try to log in to the Webot website to operate for depositing.

  • Contact the bank card issuer and request that they lift the deposit restriction.

  • Try using Webot's other deposit methods (e.g., Wire, ACH).
