2-Factor Authentication includes Enable Email, Enable SMS, and Enable Google Authenticator, which together keep your account secure. 【Securing Your Webot Account】
This article explains what to do when one of your authentication methods can no longer receive verification codes. The usual causes are:
Your email has been suspended because the provider ended the service, so you can no longer sign in to it.
Your phone number has changed and the original number is no longer usable.
Your Google Authenticator has been lost.
Steps to reset:
Click [Lost 2-factor authentication?] below the verification code field.
Enter your Webot account and password again, then click [Next].
Please note: For your account’s security, withdrawals are disabled for 72 hours after the reset is complete.
Select the authentication method you need to reset, then click [Next].
If you want to disable SMS verification, you only need to enter the codes from your email and Google Authenticator.
Please note: To keep accounts secure, this service is only available to accounts that have SMS, email, and Google Authenticator all enabled at the same time.
You will be asked some questions about your account, to confirm the request comes from the account owner. Read everything carefully and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset request.
Webot automatically verifies the information you submit for review, based on your account’s security level.
Once your request is approved, we will disable your email or SMS verification within 1–3 business days.
After it has been disabled, sign in again and bind a new phone number or email address to keep your account secure.
