What is Webot Staking?
Webot Staking is a value-added service that allows users to put their idle cryptocurrency to work by participating in on-chain staking activities. Rewards are generated directly from blockchain staking mechanisms.
How are rewards generated?
When you stake your assets through Webot, your funds participate in on-chain staking protocols. Rewards are derived from the respective blockchain network's staking incentives, such as transaction fees and newly issued tokens from the network.
What are the risks of staking?
While staking can generate rewards, there are risks to be aware of:
Market volatility — The value of your staked assets may fluctuate with market conditions. Rewards earned may not offset a significant drop in asset value.
Redemption period — Some assets require a waiting period before they can be fully redeemed. During this time, your assets may not be immediately accessible.
Instant unstake fee — If you choose to redeem your assets before the standard redemption period, an instant unstake fee will apply. This fee varies based on on-chain liquidity conditions at the time of redemption.
Network conditions — Staking rewards may vary depending on the activity and conditions of the underlying blockchain network.
How to Stake
To get started, simply follow the tutorials on the Webot Stake strategy and stake your assets.
On the Web：
Step 1: Log in to your Webot account, click on [Earn] in the upper menu bar, choose the product you wish to invest in, and then select [Stake].
Step 2: Enter the investment amount, then read and agree to the “Webot Staking Service Agreement” by checking the checkbox, and then click [Stake] to successfully stake your assets.
In APP:
Step 1: Open the Pionex app and click on [Account] - [Earn] to access the staking section. Choose the product you wish to invest in.
Step 2: Select the [Stake], enter the investment amount, then read and agree to the “Webot Staking Service Agreement” by checking the checkbox, then click [Confirm] to successfully stake your assets.
FAQ
Q: How long does it take to redeem my staked assets?
A: The redemption period depends on the option you choose:
Standard redemption — Your assets will be returned to your account within the standard timeframe, subject to blockchain processing time. In rare cases, it may take slightly longer.
Instant Unstake — Enable the "Instant Unstake Fee" toggle to receive your assets immediately. Note that a fee starting from 1.00% will apply, and the actual fee may vary depending on available liquidity at the time of redemption.
We recommend using standard redemption if you do not need your funds urgently, as it does not incur any additional fees.
Q: Why is my instant unstake fee higher than 1%?
A: The 1% displayed is the minimum fee. The actual fee varies based on the liquidity pool conditions of the respective asset at the time of redemption. This is determined by the on-chain protocol, not by Webot.
Q: How are staking rewards paid out?
A: Staking rewards are paid out hourly and compound automatically. This means your rewards are reinvested into your staking balance each hour, allowing you to earn rewards on top of your previously earned rewards over time.
