Important: The mobile app is available on Android devices only and will not work on Apple devices
Step 1: Check Database Configuration
Hover over Administration.
Click on Mobile Devices.
Click Add a New Device.
Click Next to begin the authorisation process.
Scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
Note: If no file is available to download after scanning the QR code, your database is not configured for the app.
Please contact your Account Manager to get this set up
Step 2: Download and Install the App
After scanning the QR code, select the file to download.
Open the file on your device to begin the app installation.
Step 3: Authorise the Device in Weighsoft
Back in Weighsoft, click Next.
Complete the device information:
Field | Description |
Device Identifier | Enter the DROID-ID shown on the device screen when the app is first launched. |
Asset Number | Assign a name for the device in your database. |
Click Next.
If the Device Identifier is entered correctly, you will see a series of green ticks on the screen. The device will then begin downloading the required databases.
This process may take some time depending on the size of your data.
