Important:
Admin users have full access to all accounts, addresses, and portal settings.
Customer accounts should never be set as Admin users.
Admin Setup Requirements
A portal user cannot be created directly as an admin.
You must first create the portal user using the standard process (see Creating a New Web Portal User article).
Steps to Set a Portal User as Admin
In Weighsoft, go to Administration.
Click on Admin Functions.
Select the Portal tab at the top of the screen.
Enter the username of the portal user in the Username field.
Click Change.
You will see a confirmation message:
β"Web user updated to admin" displayed in red beneath the field.
Sync Time
Please allow up to 24 hours for the admin status to be reflected on the portal.
