Overview
The On-Site status of a skip order is the indication of the skips location. The status of an order is determined by the last job that was completed.
On-Site status by Job Type
The below table shows what status is applied to the skip order after each job type is completed.
Job Type | On-Site Status |
Delivery | On-Site |
Exchange | On-Site |
Collect & Return | On-Site |
Reposition | On-Site |
Wait & Load | Off-Site |
Collection | Off-Site |
Service | No Change |
Note: Because the "Service" job type is used ion so many differing scenarios it does not have any effect on the on-site status of a skip order
Troubleshooting
A common issue occurs where a skip job shows as On Site even after it has been collected. This typically happens when both the Delivery and Collection jobs are scheduled on the same day. The system may struggle to determine which job was completed last, resulting in the skip incorrectly remaining marked as On Site.
Resolution Steps
To correct the On Site status, you can manually adjust the time of the job that should have been recorded last (usually the Collection job). Follow these steps:
Note: You must have Admin Functions permission to perform this action.
Hover over Administration.
Click on Admin Functions.
Navigate to the Skips tab.
Locate the section titled Change Skip Ticket Time.
In the Ticket No field, enter the ticket number for the last job (typically the Collection) and click Find.
If the page resets to the General tab after clicking Find, simply return to the Skips tab to continue.
In the New Time Collated field, enter a time that is after the Delivery time.
Click Save.
