This article explains how to use the Prices Export option and what data it provides.
πβNote: There are more exports available if the Prices export isn't the one you're looking for. For more information, follow our article on export and import price increases.
The prices export relates to all prices in the Prices screen. When you create a new order, job, or item, this is where the prices come from.
β
Only one option above the exports section relates to the price increase. This is:
Include Expired Prices - You use this in Prices only, it includes prices that have expired.
To export Prices:
Click Export Latest Prices To CSV.
This grabs all the currently active prices from the Prices screen and puts them into a spreadsheet.
β
Once you open the export, you first need to remove any rows that you aren't updating. The import process won't work if there are blank New Start Date fields.
β
The amendments are put into the following columns:
β
C or New Start Date | Where you set the start date of the new price. |
H or Incr Price Cash | Where you increase the cash price by x amount, the system calculates and displays the new total in column F. |
I or Incr Price Account | Where you increase the price amount by x amount, the system calculates and displays the new total in column G. |
Once you've filled in the export, save a copy of the spreadsheet, then go back into the Price Export/Import screen in Weighsoft.
To import the export:
Ensure the spreadsheet is saved in the csv format.
Click Choose File then select the spreadsheet.
Click Upload Import Prices.
