How credits work

What uses credits, what's free, and top-ups.

What uses credits

Credits are used when the AI builds or changes your site. The cost matches the size of the job: a small edit uses a few credits, and a full new site uses more.

  • A new build reserves 50 credits up front and returns whatever it didn't use.

  • AI-generated images cost 10 credits each. Stock photo search is free.

  • If a request fails and produces nothing, its credits are returned automatically.

What's free

  • Publishing and republishing

  • Clicking to edit text, colours and images

  • Editing code by hand

  • Using templates

  • SEO fixes

Monthly credits and rollover

Your plan's credits arrive each billing month. Some unused credits roll over: up to 125 on Starter, 500 on Pro and 1,100 on Max.

Top-ups

Need more before your plan renews? Paid plans can buy extra credits: 100 for $7, 300 for $18, 1,000 for $55, 3,000 for $150, 5,000 for $240 or 10,000 for $450. You can also turn on auto top-up.

When you run out

AI changes pause until you top up, upgrade or your credits renew. Everything free above keeps working, and your live site is unaffected.
