How and When Do I Get Paid

Updated over 3 weeks ago

We want to make sure you have full clarity on how payments work for your sessions. Please review the details below to understand when and how youโ€™ll receive your earnings.

Billing and Payment Handling

  • Platform: All payments are processed through Deel, our payment partner. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Read this article on how to set up Deel.

  • Insurance Clients: Payments for sessions with insurance members will only be processed once Wellnite receives reimbursement from the insurance provider. This applies to all insurance sessions, including those with clients referred through your Digital Practice link.- Please verify session reimbursements if payment is delayed. If a session is reimbursed late, it will be included in the next available payment cycle.

  • Digital practice Out-of-Pocket Clients: For your clients paying out-of-pocket, you may set your own fee and process the charge directly through your Stripe account linked to your Wellnite dashboard.

  • Billable Sessions: Completed sessions, no-shows, and late cancellations are considered billable and reimbursed at the standard rate once insurance has paid Wellnite.

Payment Frequency

Wellnite operates on a semi-monthly payment cycle:

  • Payments are made on the 15th and 31st of each month.

Payment Schedule Breakdown

  • Sessions from the 1stโ€“15th of the month โ†’ Paid on the 31st of the same month

    • Example: Sessions between March 1โ€“15 will be paid on March 31st.

  • Sessions from the 16thโ€“end of month โ†’ Paid on the 15th of the following month

    • Example: Sessions between March 16 โ€“ 28 will be paid on April 15th.

Important Note on Initial Appointments

Initial appointments with Wellnite members are not eligible for payment. The initial session is generally treated as an intake session to assess co0mpatibility between client and therapist.

Troubleshooting Payment Delays

If you are facing payment delays, the following steps can help:

  1. Check Insurance Reimbursement Status: Ensure that all sessions have been reimbursed by the insurance provider, as payments are processed only for reimbursed sessions.

  2. Monitor the Upcoming Payment Cycles: Payments for delayed reimbursements are included in the next cycle. Verify the schedule and expected payment. If issues persist, please reach out to Wellnite support with specific session details.

  3. Track Payments via the Revenue Tab: Use the Revenue tab on your Wellnite dashboard to review billed sessions and ensure all eligible sessions are accounted for.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding sessions and payments, kindly reach out to the team via chat, phone (415) 767-1564, or email us at providers@wellnite.com
