Here at WeMoney, we offer our members two methods from which to securely connect their account. We discuss both in turn:

Open Banking: Open Banking is a scheme under the Consumer Data Right (CDR) designed to give consumers greater access and control over their information - this allows consumers to grant access to ACCC accredited third parties to information surrounding their financial account information. This gives you greater control over how your information can be used for your benefit, and also how it is shared with accredited third parties, such as WeMoney.

Secure Connection: A secure connection involves using an application programming interface (API) provided by the bank to securely connect with the app or service. This allows the app or service to access specific account information without the need for the user to share their login credentials. The API enables the app to retrieve data such as balances, transactions, and account information directly from the bank's servers.
